I needed a place to stay in the region on short notice and decided to give HI Dublin-Pleasanton a try. In the unlikely event that I’ll need a hotel in the region, I will go back. My only regret was not trying the seemingly famous chicken wings.

The good:
– Excellent service
– Meaningful upgrade for IHG elite members
– Short walk from BART station (West Dublin BART also has safe and easy parking)
– Many amenities (pool, gym, patio)

The bad:
– Rooms are dated

The ugly:
– A/C unit is behaving strangely. Seems to be centrally-controlled sometime and cooled the room to 15 degrees Celsius
– Wi-Fi is not encrypted
